Looking at your grave,
about all you forgave.

Twice the man I will ever be,
a Grandfather
my son will no longer see.

Love was a hard word
for you to say,
yet you showed it everyday.

Things that did not have to be said,
your actions
were enough instead.

Now as my son looks at me
I must become the father
you taught me to be.
