An Embarrassment

Welcome back you were

away for too long,

that one who took

your place did not belong.

He was to open

with his emotions

and we were all afraid

he would cause a commotion

When he started

to tell us how he was

someone had to interrupt

to give us pause.

It’s great to see that

you are back to normal

lets all get together and

plan something informal.

Just to celebrate that

you are back to your best

and all that you needed

was some pills

and a lot of rest.

We don’t have to worry

about you

being an embarrassment

now that you

have realised your

thoughts are irrelevant.
