What did we do,
when we didn’t
have a smartphone?
How did we survive
when we were
all on our own?
Having no one
tell us what to think.
Instead today,
we are too easy
to hoodwink.
A generation
of people
who are ready
to be controlled
by faceless entities
with a presence
in every household.
What has happened
to all the
independent choices?
Being told what to do,
we have lost
our own voices.

Yes, I have a smart phone, but it doesn’t tell me what to do! You still have a voice – and you exercise it! Good for you! My smart phone let’s me hear you. Good for it. I choose who to hear.
