for those you aggrieved.

It’s not your fault

they didn’t take

their opportunity

when you decided

to sell out

their community.

Knocking down homes

in the name of progress

while lining

your pockets in the process.

There is not

a hare-brained scheme

you would not consider.

That’s the job

of the politician,

the highest bidder.
