Wisdom

Searching for wisdom

in the pages of books,

many I read aren’t

worth a second look.

However in others

it’s there in black and white,

the most beautiful words

a person could write.

Expressing their souls

in a forthright way

making their readers think

and then want to stay.

From every language

it can be translated,

wisdom is a tool

that should never be underrated.

  1. I’m glad you fixed “too old” with that extra “0”, Now please show your wisdom by fixing the possessive “your” to the “You’re” that means “You are.” I’m waiting! And by the way I loved YOUR poem on wisdom so much that I reblogged it. Hopefully YOU’RE going to get some new readers with that gesture. YOU’RE worthy of lots of readers sharing YOUR posts!
