Hope to
wake up
in the morning
to witness
a new day dawning.
Hope to see
your smiling face
if only
in a photo
upon the bookcase.
Hope I get
a second chance
to ask you
for another dance.
Hope that you
may return my call
then back
to you I will crawl.
